MBi Llandudno manager Alan Morgan hopes his side can give a good account of themselves as they prepare to make their European debut.
Morgan's side face two-times Uefa Cup winners IFK Göteborg in the Europa League qualifying first round first leg in Sweden on Thursday.
"They've got history and are a massive club," former Tranmere Rovers defender Morgan told BBC Wales Sport.
"But we're going to give a good account of ourselves and give it a good go."
The Gothenburg-based club beat Hamburg to win the Uefa Cup in 1981 under former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.
They won the competition again six years later when they beat Dundee United in a two-legged final.
Jorgen Lennartsson's side were runners-up in last season's Swedish Allsvenskan and are currently fifth in the table after 12 games but are without Hjörtur Hermannsson, who is on international duty and was on the bench in Iceland's 2-1 defeat of England on Monday.
Llandudno qualified for the Europa League at the end of their debut season in the Welsh Premier League.
The Seasiders finished third and qualified automatically for the Europa League after Airbus UK were beaten by League champions TNS in the Welsh Cup final.
Morgan has signed striker John Owen from Rhyl, defender Nathan Peate and goalkeeper Patrik Rutter ahead of the Europa League campaign.
